CHAMPIONSHIP DETAILS

THE CHAMPIONSHIP HAS BEEN MOVED FROM THE CEDARS AT DUNGENESS TO
PORT LUDLOW GOLF CLUB (8.31.18)


Eligibility: Entries are open to senior amateur golfers who: (a) are members in good standing of a WSGA member club; (b) are 65 years of age or older by September 25, 2018; and (c) have an active GHIN number and USGA Handicap Index, issued by a WSGA member club, not exceeding 12.4 at the time of entry. 

Format: 54-hole individual stroke play (gross only)

Age Limit: Senior Men's Amateur Championship entrants must be 65 years of age or older by September 25, 2018.

Handicap Limit: Entrants must have an active GHIN number and USGA Handicap Index, issued by a WSGA member club, not exceeding 12.4 at the time of entry. 

Field Limit: 30 players (Field fill method: Exempt players followed by the lowest USGA Handicap Indexes at the close of entry). NOTE: The WSGA reserves the right to modify the field limit in conjunction with the WSGA Senior Men's Amateur Championship to reach a full field of 90 players. 

Entry Fee: $205.00

Cart Fee: $17.00 per player/per day; to be paid during registration 

Entry Deadline: September 4, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. (PDT) 

Entry Includes: Three rounds of championship play, one hosted practice round, warm up range balls, tee prize, lunch following final round play, Kusak crystal for top finishers, and a merchandise payout ($1,500 based on a full field). 

Exemptions: 

  • Champion earns an exemption into the 10th Annual WSGA Senior Champion of Champions to be played at The Home Course in DuPont, Wash. in April of 2019.
     
  • Champion earns an exemption into the 10th PNGA Super Senior Men's Amateur Championship to be played in June of 2019.
     
  • Champion earns an exemption into the 22nd WSGA Super Senior Men's Amateur Championship to be played in September of 2019.
